This finals shit is almost over . . . almost. I have one more of these things tomorrow morning - yeah, it's on a Saturday. I am not a big fan of tests, especially ones on Saturdays. Oh well. Three hours of hell and then it'll be another semester out of the way (hopefully).
Immediately after the test, I am heading straight to the airport for a little trip to Boston before I start my summer job. Since I will be gone, I will not be able to ship any orders placed between later this evening and May 15. All orders that are placed during this time will ship first thing on Monday, May 16. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but I can't haul all my BPONG shit out to Boston with me. Thanks for your patience, understanding, and all that good stuff.
Once school is done, we are going to have a lot more time to work on the site. However, don't expect to see too much until the end of the summer. We're going to try to hold back and release everything at once. I've told a lot of you through emails and AIM that I've been planning stuff for a number of years now, but I am hoping to be focused enough to actually implement all these ideas I have. If I get even half of the shit done that I want to do, BPONG.COM will definitely be your number one source for all things related to beer pong and beirut. If you don't continue to check back throughout the summer, be sure to check back this fall.
That's it for now. Play safe, drink safe, and keep spreading the best game in the world.
I don't have much time to say much - these next couple of weeks are going to really be kicking my ass in school. It's a good thing that these finals are only worth 100% of my grades, huh? The new white shirts have been shipping for a week now, and so far, the feedback is great. Everybody seems to love them.
Koozies are now here! It's warming up, so if you want to keep your beer cold, or just drink it in a phat koozie, check out the merchandise page. I'll start shipping these things tomorrow.
I don't have an exact delivery date, but I am expecting some BPONG.COM koozies to be delivered to my doorstep this week. By "some," I mean over 500. We'll be selling them for around $5.00, so be sure to check them out. I'll list them on the merchandise page when I get them in. I know I usually drink the beer fast enough that I never thought I needed one of these, but then I realized that I can use them to keep the next several rounds cold. Of course with this fucking snow and 30 degree weather right now, the beer is staying cold as it is.
What is going on? We will begin shipping our new white shirts on Monday, April 18. Check out the merchandise page to order yours today.
Also, I will be heading out of town this weekend for some heavy drinking. That means that if you order something this Friday through Sunday, I will not be able to ship it until Monday, April 18. Of course, that assumes I remember my way back, which with all the drinking, who knows? However, I am smart enough to leave bread crumbs along the interstate on my drive out there. That way, I should have no problems getting back home on Sunday.
We have a new reseller at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. Brian just got a bunch of shirts from us, and he tells us that he plans on just standing out in the middle of the streets, acting like an idiot to get your attention, and selling you a shirt if you want one. I'm sure if you want to join him out in the street, he'd love to have you. Of course, if you wish to take a more civil approach, check out the resellers page and check out his contact information.
Now, whenever we announce a new reseller, it seems like I get mass emails asking how you can become a reseller. It's easy. The basic idea is that you buy stuff from us in bulk at reduced prices and make some money in return by reselling it. This helps us spread the word about beer pong / beirut, helps the buyer save on shipping costs, and helps the resellers make some money for beer and/or women. Most people start out with a $200 investment and make around $100 over that investment. As those of you that have dealt with me before know, my number one priority is to make sure everybody is happy. Therefore, if you buy a bunch of shit from me and can't resell it for some reason (it has not happened yet), I will gladly buy it back from you so that you do not lose any money out of the deal. If you are seriously interested, feel free to use the contact information on the contact page to send me an email.
We are going to have a few new merchandise items for you to choose within a month or so. In the meantime, I was going through some old stuff, and I came across a few old school shirts (pictured here) that we first printed a number of years ago. One of the new items we are going to be selling is a shirt very similar to what you see pictured here. However, I would like to get rid of these original shirts before I get the new ones printed. There were very few of these ever made, and this exact design will probably never be printed again. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them. I would just like to get rid of them because (1) the new design will be slightly different, and (2) they were printed on a Fruit of the Loom shirt, and I now use a different brand.
Instead of throwing them away, here's the deal. I have 8 XX-large shirts, 1 X-large, 1 large, and 1 small shirt. If you want one of these, email me (look at the Contact Page for my email address). I am selling these for $8, which includes shipping. The first person to email me claiming the size he or she wants will have 24 hours to send payment after I give him/her the instructions for payment. If that person fails to pay within that time period, I will send the shirt to the next person that asked for it.
I'm back in town, and all orders have been shipped. I'm really behind in school work now, but it was good to get away for a while. We are working on a lot of stuff right now, but we don't want to give anything away just yet. It might be several months before we are satisfied with the things we are working on, but more is on the way.
School is keeping us as busy as ever, but I wanted to let you guys know that I will be out of town from Wednesday, February 23 through Monday, February 28. What does that mean? That means that I will not be able to ship orders while I am gone. The last set of orders will go out on Wednesday morning, and I will then ship all orders from the extended weekend during the next few days after I return.
Sorry for any inconvenience, but I have to get out of this place for a bit.
It looks like the balls might finally be done. The printer was having a problem with his printing press, and he finally figured out that he had a short in one of the switches on the machine. I almost went to a different printer, but I wanted to stay with this one because in my opinion, he is giving us a higher quality ball. There are three or four little things that he is doing for me that most other printers will not do. They are things that you probably would not even notice, but I wanted them done anyway. That's why I kept giving him extra time to get the job done.
According to the printer, though, the balls were done as of 1:10 AM EST. The carrier he usually ships with does not pick up on Saturdays, but he's sending them with a different service so he can ship them today. With a little bit of luck, I might have these things by Monday. If not, they should definitely be here by Tuesday or Wednesday.
Ball Update: Well, the balls were suppose to be printed last Wednesday, but they still have not been printed. The printer tells me that he was on medication, and he wants the withdrawl symptoms to subside so he can have a steady hand to print the balls for me. We really need some balls, but there is not much I can do other than wait. Hopefully we'll finally get the balls this week, but based on the way things have been going (this order started in December!), I'm not counting on anything. I'll keep you guys posted on what is going on.
