  • During the week of June16th to June 22nd, me and my friend aka the self proclaimed best players in Reno are heading down to SoCal for some beer pong competition. If anyone knows of any tournaments, house games, or wants to arrange some cash games, then please post here. We're looking to take on anyone whose willing to play.  We know there's world class competition down there, and we know we can stack up to you guys. Thanks.

  • In regards to tournaments that will be occuring that week I'd suggest checking www.socalbeerpong.com as they generally post any tournaments run either by themselves or just other southern California organizations.  If you'd prefer to look at the other groups websites the ones that I know of are SDBP (www.beerpongleagues.com), Barfinder (www.barfinder.com), Pongleague (www.pongleague.net), and BLBP (www.bigleaguebeerpong.com).  Apologies if I forgot anyone.

For house parties and cash games the most ideal location I can think of would be the SoCal Training Facility in Huntington Beach, but since I don't live there I'll leave it up to those guys to extend an invitation if they so choose.  Although Peter posted a link to this thread on the SCBP page so someone will see your post eventually.  Also, not sure where you guys are staying insofar on if its closer to LA/OC or more in the SD area.  In my opinion LA/OC has more high caliber teams, but if you end up staying around San Diego there are some good players down here as well (just probably lesser numbers).  I'd be down to throw something at my place one night, it isn't huge but we could probably get 2 tables set up or so.  That said the Training Facility is probably what you're looking for.

Other than that my name is Grady and I played on Team America all last year, if you want my email it is gshunt@ucsd.edu.

Have fun while you're down here and hope to see you guys for a few games.
