  • A couple things:

    1.  BoE 2009:  Initially, for those of you who went and saw the layout of the bar, we were supposed to hold the tournament in the much larger front section.  Unfortunately we were notified last minute that we were going to be preempted for the release of what is sure to be (based on the turnout) the greatest Reggae CD of all time.  This caused several problems in and of itself.  There was no longer the space to have 16-20 tables, so we had to make due with only 11.  The front section had a sound system that i was planning on using, but was not available in the back area where we ended up playing.

    2.  The Venue:  The GM at Mcfadden's mentioned that he would love to have us back for a tournament.  He also guaranteed me use of the front bar area.  This would allow use of the sound system and a projector for the brackets so that people know when and where they will be playing, as well as having much more room.  After the football season is over look for there to be a few tournaments held there.

HAHAHAHA dont be sour just because they didnt ask you to come party Mike. When I went over there to buy cigarettes I actually saw quite a few hot reggae bitches.

I think next years format should include a cash coin flips area so we dont have to do it outside again. I don't like the bounce the quarters get off the cement, although I was able to win a good 40 bucks.
