  • Sorry if this has been posted before... Ill make this short and not ramble... Im gonna say that this rule should be added to major tourneys. You have to call your cup and hit it or it doesn't count. Some people see this game as luck. This will make the game based more on skill and less on luck. What are the pros and cons of this?? Can it work or not??

  • All you would accomplish with this rule would be to scare away any recreational players from playing in the World Series.  The top players would do it no problem, but everyone else would spend their time and money on something else.

What if we apply this rule to every final day??

So in basketball, it has to be a swish or it doesn't count. In football, you have to call your receiver before the play starts. In baseball, you have to announce your pitch and the hitter has to hit it where he says.

There is luck in everysport...it makes the games interesting. Call your cup would be fine for cash games or something but for a tournament, is a terrible idea.

  • agree with adam, everyone knows what cup we are all trying for but we cant all be perfect every game just imagine if you had an off game and you made 5 cups but you were shooting long so every cup you hit was the one behind the cup you were aiming at... you know we all have off games i dont think it should necessarily mean death to your team if you have an off day or off couple games

Nba.com.. nope. Nfl.com... nope. Mlb.com.. nope. Ahh here we go yes. Bpong.com is the name of this site right?? We are talking about beer pong here not basketball, football or baseball fraser.. Besides those sports have already adjusted there rules through out their existence to fit the professional playing level.

There will still be luck in the game just not as much. I think you hate my ideas fraser because you wouldnt be able to handle the ideas i have thrown out. Good job on 4th place in AC but if you had to call your cup day 3 you probably wouldn't have made it as far as you did. And for my beer pong championship belt idea. You know you would never be the champion. Which is why you didn't like that one either.

Lol at least I understand now why you always hate on my suggestions haha.

Remember fraser it was just an idea to throw out to get peoples opinion. No need for you to be a dick about it.

And you said for cash games it would be ok to call your cup but not for tournaments?? Haha umm ya i dont know if you know this but i think someone told me that there is $50,000 on the line in vegas.. Sounds like there is just a little cash on the line here ehh fraser??

First off, wrong fraser. I'm from arizona. And I wasn't trying to be a dick, I was just saying as someone who wants more people to come out, this won't work. There is a luck factor and a lot of people like it. I was just bringing up those as examples of luck in other sports or games.

I was saying a cash game between sonoma joe and pop playing call your cup is different between 2 chicks that are playing for the first time in a tournament. They would never come back...

And about the world series, I got a top ten last year, what place did you get?

Again, not trying to be a dick, but if you want to play call your cup, save it for side cash games, not a big tournament. It would take forever and would drive people away, including me.

  • I've played house parties withb the "babe Ruth" rule. Basically each team has one chance to call their shot. if they make it in that cup, its two cups. if they dont make that cup its no cups. it can only be used once a game per team. what do you think about that? *it doesn't have to be used either*

Hahahaha sorry about the wrong fraser thing.

Its just you kinda came off as a dick in both my threads and fraser just seemed like the type of guy to do that after playing him in AC. My bad on taking the posts the wrong way tho.

And that is the kind of opinions i was looking for thank you lol.

And Im 20 so i wasnt there last year but will be this year so ill let you know after the tourney how i finished.

And what part of AZ do you live in??? I live in AZ too. We will go with the Tempe area. Maybe we can get some call your cup cash games going haha.
