  • If you are goin to do multiple buyin's it should be with same partner...especially if you are only going to decide 3 days before.

  • Yeah, 3 days notice isn't enough time to get another partner commited. My other partner isn't local, so it's not like I can call him the day of and just go pick him up. Definitely need a yes or no on that in advance. I'll be coming regardless, but I'm not going to bring another partner up there so he can sit and watch, ya know?

  • I disagree, if you do multi buy ins it has to be with a different partner....why would you buy in twice with the same partner? Like i said i only want it cuz we might be three, so me and my partner would both play with the 3rd guy. It would be cool if we could kno sometime next week at the latest on wtv ur call is, that way we at least have more than a weeks notice.
     
    Any idea on how many teams u expecting?

  • If it is 3 days notice it has to be same partner. If we get 10 days or more I can see doing with different partners and I have no problem with that. Im just saying you can't let everyone hang on a limb and expect them to bring a 3rd person on a 2 or 3 day notice.

  • Ok honestly I am leaning towards no, but I will give you guys 8 days notice. I will tell you next friday. If that sounds better. I need people to pre register so I have a better idea of number of teams, but as of now I honestly think I can pull off atleast 30 teams.

    why not do double buy ins and just increase the money you take in anyway.

  • Ok here is my problem with multi buy ins....I don't think it's cool for one team or person to have twice the chances of winning just because they can afford to put more money into it. I like the idea of everyone having their fair chance, plus I personally love eliminating people from tournaments. So to knock someone out and have them do a Zombie apocalypse resurrection and have to play them again, bugs me.
     
    Ok the second part was basically a joke....but the first reason is why I have generally steer away from multi buys. Im sorry. If your boys need partners, good partners I can find them some, but I'd really just suggest you bring four people, I know you have more than 3 people in your towns that play Beer Pong. lol.

    Ya i feel what your sayin about the zombie thing, but i think its legit when ur playin wit a diff partner, because thats a different team right there. But well go by wtv ur sayin, worse case well just come 2 ppl
