  • We are setting a rule but we will be lenient on it based on a case to case basis.

Squads are formed to represent a region. That region can be the midwest (MI,IL,OH) or as small as Philly (an individual city). Since there are set pong communities where leagues and tournaments are regularly run, people venture out past where their hometown is to play.  Squads do not have to be contained to a particular state but must be contained the their said regional name.  If Long Island forms a squad then everyone on that team should be from long island. The only exception should be if there is a person on that squad who doesnt live in long island but who refers to themselves as a long island player and plays the majority of their pong in long island. For example, if there is no pong in north jersey and all the players in north jersey play in long island, then they should be eligible to play for long island.

Since kessler plays in south jersey most of the time then he can play for south jersey.

If we have to check drivers licenses at the event to keep things fair and see where people live because people cannot be honest then so be it.

If people want to play on a squad that does not encompass their hometown then the party at question can email mike and I and we will make the call on a case to case basis.

Just because someone used to live on the east coast doesnt mean anything. The midwest doesnt extend all the way out to colorado.  Our cut off will be the mississippi river.

If you want a squad, a captain needs to come forward and identify him/herself to Mike.  We will then compile a list of all the proposed squads and request that the captains submit a roster. Mike and I will then go through the rosters and decide if everything checks out.

When captains submit their roster we need each player on the squads full name, home address, email address, and phone number.  Once the squad is submitted, it will be checked over and added to the system. Once added to the system, the players on that squad will be able to register for the event and pay online.

More to come as Mike and I finalize the format and rules.

    -Garrett
