  • How exactly did they work in AC. Im sure this is similar to poker where a certain number of teams sign up for an x amount of dollar sit n go, then it would start. Was there sign up sheets for different cash amounts, singles or doubles, and how many teams would have to sign up (8?)? Was it a single elim? Wish I could've made it to AC

They had 1on1 sit and gos and 2on2 sit n gos. $25, 50, or $100. 4 teams/people play a bracket so you have to win 2 games. They take 20% from all total pots. I loved them and think it should be something that's definitely considered for Vegas.

  • For 20% of the pot, I'll set up sit n go's in my room.

  • It was cool. It was a great way to play with people you don't normally play with. I won 3 of them with different people. You put in 50 bucks for the team and win 160. It's not a bad deal. They also moved quickly, which is nice.

your team actually only wins $110 since the other $50 is your money to begin with... it's essentially the same as winning 2 $50 cash games. however, if you go 1 and 1 in $50 cash games, you break even, whereas in the sit n go's you would be down $50.

but i do agree it is a great way to play people you normally wouldn't.

Yup, you're right. Haha. Well, it's fun, regardless. I'd love to see them do them at the WSOBP.
