Sam also mentioned to me that you CAN put your foot under the table. The Rules page says you can't but they are changing it.

mikepop66 Joined: 11.30.2006 Age: 27 Total Games: 234 W/L %: 84.19 Avg CD: 2.29 Full Stats	Posted: Jun 1st 2009, 05:37 pm Post subject: Official AC Rules & More i still dont like the end of game rules. if its shoot til u miss that means 1 player can tie game by themselves. if ur double bagged u should be able to tie by yourself. so if i hit 9 and ron missed to double bag last cup that means i lose BUT my team hit all 10 cups? makes no sense. sam sed he wants every1 to shoot thats why there shooting double bag ball but if its not double bagged and i hit all 9 for example ron doesnt shoot for balls in OT. so hes rolling ball back and other team still shoots first in OT the rule conflicts. so either it should be last cup is hit the other team automatically shoots til they miss to tie the game but whoever hit first automatically starts with balls in OT which is how it should be. OR if they want let ppl double bag for no reason but its not game. then if its shoot til u miss and i have 3 left i should be able to hit 3 2 1 get another ball back to double bag last cup alone. not i stop shooting when i didnt miss yet and have it all ride on rons 1 shot? way i see it the rules have to go 1 way or the other or not do shoot til u miss bc this rule makes no sense

From what you're saying, it's not really shoot 'til you miss then. It's shoot 'til the last cup is hit and then the other guy goes. That's retarded. So....if my partner shoots and misses his first rebuttal shot, I imagine I wouldn't even need to bother shooting in that scenario because we would both have to hit last cup and he already missed. I really wish they'd just switch to WSOBP rebuttal rules as far as the last cup goes. I think these rules are going to cause a lot of headaches.

What I got yesterday from what Neil said about this, one person can hit last cup twice to rebuttal a doublebag so it IS shoot til you miss.. the rules on the pongtour website differ a little bit with the rebuttal rule, and the foot under the table rule. You will apparently be allowed to put your foot under the table, and it is shoot til you miss in rebuttal, allowing one person to hit last cup twice to rebuttal a doublebag. It wouldn't make much sense to have to both hit it, it would go against the whole shoot til you miss rebuttal rule.

No worries baker well i saw some1 elses post to the rule earlier and told it to sam. if its shoot til u miss 1 player should be able to tie alone. but the way its seems to be now is just wasting extra shots. if u double bag then i double bag myself before ron still ot and its same. as u rolling back 2nd ball hitting it one time. and one of us hitting. and alotttt less confusion. but thats just me. oh and what i also hate is flipping a coin for ball no skill involved. and i bet i win 1 of the 10 tosses. so if ur shitty with a coin ur gona be trailing every game? awesome. thank god its shoot til u miss then not a fan of a coin toss. why dont we play tittely winks or rock paper scissor for balls first?

Glad the rules are changed for rebuttal but Pops are you serious about the coin toss? If you are bad at coin tosses, that is the most absolutely amazing thing I have ever heard of. I am willing to bet you would win (just a guess here) but closer to 5/10. Cant wait to see you boys in a couple weeks and it should be a good one.
