  • Some people gotta relax..
     
    As if everyone didn't know already..me (Neil) and Tone are human.. we don't win EVERY game we play.  I'm tired of kids who didn't go to the World Series talking shit!  We got beat the other night and after we lost the kids that beat us were talking shit..and this has happened numerous times. If you were never at the World Series of Beer Pong, you obviously have no idea what the fuck your talking about.  I'm sure other teams that are known from the World Series have played and lost..NOONE wins all the time..and I'm sure these same teams have had to put up with other people talking shit like their better than everyone else.  Until you've played in the WSOBP..shut your fucking mouths!  Most of these teams aren't that bad either..they just run their mouths.  I think everyone is in agreement with me when I say that you have not played in a "beer pong tournament" till you've played at the World Series..it's unlike any other tournament or anywhere else.  Words of advice; please..play..have a good time..and if you win..congrats..but don't open your fuckin mouths anymore.  You want to know how good all of us really are..watch the Beer Pong Documentary film when it comes out..should be playing in a theatre near you soon.
     
    I figured I'de start this thread for us WSOBP'ers to vent alil..cuz I KNOW theres alot of shit talking going around...feel free to express fellas..
     
    P.S. - Non WSOBP'ers join in as well..see what ya'll have to say..

    I know as soon as we came back from the WSOBP II we went right back to the drawing board and started playing like we used to play and when we lost, people made such a big deal about it, and hey, congrats, you win, you win, but I don't go around celebrating when I own people, just cause I know what I can do when my  game is on.

  • It comes with the territory tho, bro. Of course people are gonna talk shit, they beat the world series of beer pong champions. They talk shit cuz they know you're the best. It might not be as big a deal, but people did the same thing when they beat Shawn2 in a Maryland Beerpong tournament last year. Shawn2 was the best, so when teamsbeat them, they talked shit. You won $20,000... when people shit talk, ask how much they've won in a tournament

  • i agree man. i mean i didnt win WSOBP 2 but we won our division and finished 30th and when i go to a party with some people that knew me and my partner went and we lose there like we must be ranked 29th now. And im like you beat me one game, go to a real tournament and see how you do with that kinda pressure.

    1.  Because you took 3 days out in January to go to Vegas and play in this that makes you better than someone who you lost too?  No.
     
    It means nothing more than you had the time to do it, we didn't.
     
    We didn't talk shit until you felt it necessary after you got beat instead of giving us props to say, "Well you know we won at the WSOBP and we are real good, etc. etc. etc."
     
    When we lose we give respect to those who beat us, when you lose you feel like you have to give out your resume.
     
    Don't worry, my partner just moved up here and you'll be seeing alot of us around there...

  • haha larry the legend i agree with you there. haha.. but for real beating anyone in one game just means your better then them in that game.. but shit talking is still part of beer pong no matter what

    Personally I like stirring up shit and watching people talk shit on the forum..but thats just me.
     
    As for the Deleware guys..i never said you guys weren't any good and I had no intention of letting you know..or giving out my resume as you call it.  The first thing you said right after you had won was that "ohh..we beat the champs by 4 cups" so you obviously already know who we are.  i always give respect where respect is due..but not to the people who don't give me respect.   As for Tone..when other people do that he goes crazy and gets pissed off and wants to prove himself cuz he feels we don't get any respect so thats why he felt he had to play whichever one of you guys one on one.  I don't have any problems getting beat, and for those that really know me also know this..it's just that it has happened so much that i finally felt I needed to say something and put it out there. I hope you guys do keep coming..I'm always down for good competition...bring friends.
     
    -If satisfaction of beating us is what you want..then congrats.. yesterday you were the better team by far.  We both played a horrible game..you guys played good.  Hope to see you guys at fatsos next week.

  • Haha yeah I have to agree with this thread too..
     
    When I am at the top of my game or practicing....etc I am pretty good and I can hit a lot of cups
     
    But these days I'll go to a tournament without throwing a ball in 2 weeks on 40 hours without sleep and people get excited when they beat me like it means they're good enough to put up the kind of numbers I did last year.
     
    It won't take me much practice to play like I used to, I've just got to take college, working ..etc a little more seriously right now until I can get my head back in the game. So yeah losing not that big of a deal..
     
    I went like 6-5 playing around at the md beer pong league last night and left early to catch some sleep.
