Signups/Warmups will be at 9:30pm with the tourney scheduled to begin at 10:30pm. Last Wednesday we had a great showing of teams, and just so everyone knows, at the bar owners request Mike Pop is now only allowed to play with girls OR local people from Miracles in this tourney, none of his Long Island chauffeurs will be allowed to play with him. (This is serious. lol) 8ft Bing Bong tables will be used for this event, as well as WBPT tournament rules. Must of had 10-12 teams saying they don't like playing against me and my partner and won't play in tournaments we are in. Really it's funny cause not one of those teams has even been close to get to any final ever

You should change the name of the bar from Miracles to Crybaby Pussies, and instead of having pretzels at your bar, have boxes of Kleen-x It's not that players are trying to get Pop banned (as is true with some other bars he goes to), it's merely just the owner trying to make sure that there's a good chance locals from the area still attend their tournies. Most people who play in this tourney aren't from the area as it is. I appreciate you're vivid feedback though, and assumption you'd like to make about the "NY ego" based on one bars rules. Personally, I think he should be able to play with whoever he wants. Last week we had around 50 teams and first got $600 and a $100 gift card to the bar, it will be at least the same amount of teams this week, most likely more since many people couldn't make it last week. imunk0wn2u Joined: 04.27.2007 Age: 27 Total Games: 64 W/L %: 65.63 Avg CD: 1.50 Full Stats	Posted: Aug 4th 2009, 09:32 am Post subject: WBPT $700 Guaranteed Tourney New York Wed. 7/15 the way this one worked out was that it was single elim but you could sign up 4 teams - you'd put your 4 teams in different parts of the bracket, and if it got to the point where 2 of your teams are playing eachother, 1 would cancel out. I guess you could play the game, but either way, you win so... the ones I don't get are the double elim multiple buyins and the buy backs. The only way a double elim buy back could work that I can see is if you get elminiated before some of the first round is done and theres a bye spot to stick u in.
