  • Hey all,
    This bar would almost definately host a satellite tourney in las vegas, as they already have weekly beer pong tourneys there:

  • It is my understanding that the TightRack plans on having at least a couple satellite tourneys this year...  don't quote me on that though, just a rumor...

  • there is a really cool little casino called Oshea's that has 4 beer pong table in the back.  it is on the main strip just past the Flamingo i think... i played there when i was in vegas for my birthday i bet they would host...
     
            it was more of the college crowd in the casino, college students and then like the "cool parents" i liked the atmosphere alot you guys should definately check it out!!
     
    and when i go back in september im gonna hunt down the others you guys mentioned!

    That area by the back bar is closed for maintenance right now.  Tile work I think...  I have no idea how long it's gonna take, probably not long since they need that place open to bring in the beer pong crowd.  IMO it's too much like a drunken house party to be much fun for serious pongers like myself

    Strider, you must've saw the sign and that it would be fun to check out the beer pong. That place is such a shithole compared to Blondies and TightRack. They don't care about beer pong. It's just a way to attract business to their shitty casino.

  • I mean, if it wasn't filled with all kinds of weird old people, it would actually be a nice little casino.  They have live music on the weekends, and that front bar is always a cool place to meet some funny tourists.
     
    What's REALLY fun is every other Saturday night at Blondie's.  We just started throwing the 'double-party'.  We start at Blondie's at like 10pm and play beer pong ($10 for all the beer u can handle), get all nice and drunk, then we walk over to Asia Nightclub around 1:30am or 2:00am which is just around the way, and we get in FOR FREE!!!  You don't have to get in your car and drive anywhere, or anything like that.  Beer Pong for $10, and then dancing at a club FOR FREE!!!  How can u go wrong?

    hey hey calm down it was my first time in vegas and i was going by what a friend told me... next time i go i will definatley check out blondies and any other places you guys say are better!
     
    and ya mike i agree with the drunken house party thing i guess it was just a nice change from all the big "high class" casinos i was in and out of all week... but $10 for a game of beer pong?? im there for sure oshea's is incredibly over priced and i wasnt happy paying whatever they charge but like i said i didnt know any better at the time...

  • Blondie's is okay, not sure I'm all that excited to play there.  The good thing is that with your $10 cover charge, you get to drink all the beer you want, AND all the well drinks you want also...  That's pretty sweet.  I can't stand how the tables are super close to eachother and 3 of them are back to back, so while you're shooting, you have people bumping into you, elbowing you, kicking you in the back of the leg and all kinds of other shit that makes it damn near impossible to sink a shot with any accuracy.  I truly do prefer TightRack but it's off-strip quite a ways...

  • ohh so its $10 drink and drown? not $10 a game?? wow i got raped on the price at osheas then lol... but ya the table set up doesnt sound to intriguing.  are there any other on the strip or real close to it that have tables???

  • Jared has parties at Pounder's bar on Friday nights, they have plywood makeshift tables there, 4 I'm pretty sure...  it's $5 a pitcher there though.
     

    and yeah, Blondie's and TightRack are both $10 for ALL NIGHT, you don't have to pay for pitchers after you throw down a ten...
