    Post subject: Confusion about how to enter the big tourney and others.

  • Hey guys, Im a 20 year old college guy that is moving to Texas I turn 21 on 11/11 and I have alot of questions regarding the league. A.) I was searching the site and it seems no qualifiers or leagues go on in TX and I want to know how to change that. I want to also register a friend and me for the big one on Jan. 1, 2009. Is that okay because I will be of legal age by then and I would love to enter the tournament. If anyone could help a noobie to this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

  • I'll let some other jump in regarding getting things going in your area, but I also think there are other posts discussing this.  In short, we can only do so much from our end (i.e., BPONG.COM), so we don't usually actively go out searching for venues and the like.  Instead, we try to help people that come to us with questions and such.  Thus, a person or bar often decides to run beer pong events, so we offer discounts on BPONG equipment, answer questions, etc.
     
    As for The WSOBP, as long as you are 21 by January 2, it will be no problem for you to enter.  You will *not* need to wait until you are 21 to sign up - you can sign up immediately (while you are still 20).
