  • So during the tournament I shot and hit a cup then my partner shoots, as the kid tries to grab it after it hit a cup it rolls off of him and into a cup.  The team we were playing said the cup counts but we do not get a rollback.  We went and asked one of the wsobp staff and they said no rollback as well.  Now I'm not sure exactly how the situation was described to the staff because I could not hear what was said.  Later on that night I talked to a few other people and they said we should have received a rollback in that situation.  So what is the official rule on this?

  • ALWAYS know the rules.
If you think you have a chance at winning this shit.. study the rules for yourself.

Every year I have had a ref. tell me something incorrect about the rules.
In prior years it has been a ref. that knew me and took me at my word.

This year I had to contradict the ref and pull out a rulesheet to show them they were wrong.
Don't trust a stranger when you have that 50k on the line.

This isn't a massive conspiracy or something. It's only happened one time each year.
The point is just that it does happen.

  • I can not know exactly how it was explained to a ref, but as you have described it, it sounds like a rollback was warranted.

  • Alright thanks guys.  It was my first WSOBP, so next year I'll have the rules on lock down.  I knew them but once the staff said so I just dropped it.
