Is there some kind of seeding that happens in the final tourney based on how you finished in the prelims?  I like the format except for the fact that it's single elim in the first 3 rounds.  I'd like to be sure that if we get a #1 seed we're not going to have to play another #1 seed in those rounds.  Also, if there are not EXACTLY 32 or 64 teams, who gets the byes?  I say it should be the winners of prelims, then 2nd place finishers, then 3rd, and so on.

• Yes there will be seeding, we are tracking cups left and number of shots taken.  in the finals, the second round winner with the best shot/(cup left) record will get a bye to the quarter finals.  all input is welcome, I'm still open for changes on the finals structure.  Worst case for the finals it will be a heck of a party!!  I'll take all input you have!

• With the input that we have been getting about the finals, I'm going to limit the number of "buy-ins" so that we can finish the tournement in one day.  Anyone that buys-in will not have a record, so they will be labeled as one of the worst teams for seeding purposes.  Last team to "buy-in" will be the worst team, first team to "buy-in" will be the "best" of the "Worst" and will be seeded accordingly.
Thanks for all the input!

• What's going on with the finals?

Rob, I heard from my partner you said the Finals were going to be at 9 or 10 IN THE MORNING???  Is this true?

If that's true, it's really going to be tough to get people to show up.  Personally, I like to wait until at least noon to start boozing it up.  I mean I'm not that much of an alcoholic.

Stanford Beirut will show up to collect our winnings either way though.

• I noticed on the flyer you said airfare is included for the winner. Is that still the case?
