  • During my first readthrough, I missed this:

    http://sports.espn.go.com/espnmag/story?id=3832034

"In the latest issue of The Mag, Rick Reilly goes where he's never gone before: the world of competitive beer pong. What did he think about the sport? Just that it deserves its own spot in the Olympics. Seriously."

  • Deadspin also posted a link to the Reilly article.  The thing that always makes Deadpin interesting is the comments that people leave about articles.  Some of the people are pretty brutal about the elbow rule and that type of stuff.  Some funny comments but made by idiots.

  • I heard that Rick Reilly was at the World Series so I e-mailed him when I got back.  He e-mailed me back and asked for some random input and I threw in my e-mail at the end "Not that I think it would ever become an Olympic sport, but how cool would that be?" and he mentioned this idea at the end of the article.

If it ever did become an olypic sport, would any of you support your nationality or stick with America?  My last name is Polish as shit, but I think I'd probably stick with being American.  What about you guys?

  • For the record, the reason why Reilly notes his sons with their 4-0 record is because we took their asses down in the 5th round.  To you

We beat We Own Your Face in the 2nd round and Reilly's fam in the 5th and ended up going 10-2 for the prelims... so sad.

  • Well if it was an Olympic sport  I would want to represent the ole red, white, and blue.  My easy way to play in the Olympics would probably be to go with my Finnish heritage though.
