I would want to represent the ole red, white, and blue.

So you would want to represent BPONG.COM?

BPONG.com and America are one in the same, right?

Well, BPONG.com technically includes Canada as well, but I figure that America's gonna invade em at some point...so....yeah, they are one and the same.

Well I forgot about Canada but living in Michigan I just consider them the 3rd peninsula of our state.

Deadspin also posted a link to the Reilly article.  The thing that always makes Deadpin interesting is the comments that people leave about articles.  Some of the people are pretty brutal about the elbow rule and that type of stuff.  Some funny comments but made by idiots.

Scroll down to the middle of the page to read peoples comments and click the little + icons to expand them.

actually a whole lot less elbow comments than I thought there would be. Maybe it's just a different reader base than college humor but I'd like to think it's that more people realize that you can never "just drop it in" by leaning.

unrelated; what were the teams that getcha popcorn ready were on last year. and other New york people, the team "side bets encouraged" are they one of the better New York teams?

For the record, the reason why Reilly notes his sons with their 4-0 record is because we took their asses down in the 5th round.  To you

We beat We Own Your Face in the 2nd round and Reilly's fam in the 5th and ended up going 10-2 for the prelims... so sad.

The best teams hit about 70% of their shots on the eight-foot tables. That's like pitching a quarter into a parking meter slot seven times out of 10.

A better analogy is pitching a quarter into a slot machine seven times out of 10.
If the prize for winning the WSOBP was an expiring parking spot things just wouldn't be the same.

That being said, I have never understood why consistency in this game is continually elusive.

If it ever did become an olypic sport, would any of you support your nationality or stick with America?  My last name is Polish as shit, but I think I'd probably stick with being American.  What about you guys?

i don't think you get to represent poland just cause your name is polish... i'm pretty sure you'd have to get citizenship there first.  however... just like americans grant citizenship to kenyans like it's going out of style, i have a feeling it wouldn't be hard to talk to poland into giving you citizenship to be on their pong team.
