The best are the teams who claim they're going to dominate, then you check their end records and they go 2-10 or some shit. Love it. It's also cool to see the # keep rising. I don't have the stats in front of me right now but signups appear to be wayy ahead of where they were this time last year... some surprises... seeing a lot more teams from previously under-represented areas like Oregon and Washington, and elsewhere as well. Even from just one week of signups it's looking like it will be a BIG year. Very exciting We'll get the profiles posted as soon as we can, there are a couple potentially big things that are also in the pipeline that we are focusing on right now.... much more to come!

Among other interesting trends, such as those Duncan mentioned, I think we already have more Canadians signed up than ever before, and at a very quick glance, it looks like we have more girls signed up than we have ever had before. I really don't know when well have the team stuff done, but I think it should be done by the end of October. We're just attacking a variety of different tasks for the site right now, so it's tough to tell which tasks will get done first.

So atleast we'll have some good scenery this year too!

We have not yet finalized the structure for day 3, but expect it to be similar in total size to last years field, so it will very possibly be less than 1/3.
