  • it looks like a Saint Louis local radio station is going to hold a 8 tournament series which will be capped off by an official satellite. a buddy of mine is involved in it, but doesn't have official details yet. all i know is that the tournaments will start in November and happen every 3 days or so.
     
    the 8 tournament series seems a bit overdone, but i guess it could be some good practice.

  • A tournament series can be good.  It's a good way to guarantee a prize worth talking about - and is great weekly practice.  We've had a lot of interest in one that we're currently in the middle of.  If it's run haphazardly though, or if you're forced to come back each week - then it can suck.

    i agree it is great practice, but 8 tourneys is a but much, especially for a place like Saint Louis where beer pong isn't that big yet. though maybe the series will create more interest in the game around here, especially since a radio station is involved and will be running ads on air.

  • To answer any questions about the latest Beer Pong Satellite tournaments in St Louis
    Emmis Communication & Midwest Beer Pong are hosting a series of tournaments to gather the best 64 teams in St Louis to compete in a 64 team Double elimination tournament.
     
    The Championship winners will recieve the entry and travel to Las Vegas to compete in the WSOBP on Jan 1st-5th. They will also recieve BPONG tables for each player. (other prizes may be available as well)
    2nd place will also get BPONG tables for each player.
     
    To compete in this championship event you must place in the top 6 in any of the following qualifier events. (you can sign up NOW at www.1057thepoint.com)

  • I'm trying to put all the qualifier dates on here but something is wrong with the forum and I can't put everything i want.
