When people are talking about how good he is on this forum that shoudl tell you something! Even players who dont get along with him talk him up because he is just that good! I wouldn't go as far as to say Byron is a lock to win every 1-on-1 game, but I will say this: let me know when you these games are going down, because I am looking forward to making some $$$ by betting on him against these guys. lol, okay. pongshot at gmail is my contact info, so send me an email there.. you and byron both. I'll have to let you know when I 1v1 him so that I can bet my victory against you at the same time haha dude dam, you really can't say much about foster b/c i don't think you have seen him play. I think this 1 on 1 game would be a toss up. I have my own room in Vegas, and I will have a table. So we can do game in there... Piotr, are you going to bring a laptop? Love to see some stats on these games... I am down to play in Tom's room if Foster is cool with it. Also, Bryan, I don't know if you were considering the bet but my partner said he would have no part in a bet that would cast a negative light on Kobe Byrant as he is also a Laker fan. Unbeknownst to all you who read this forum, to get into Stanford you actually need to be smart. However, after hearing the posts of the 2 Stanford Beirut guys it appears all you have to have is a daddy who did something important. I myself am a Nor Cal Beirut player. I consider me and my partner to be the 2 best players in northern calii. However, we haven't done anything. We don't help ourselves in anyway by trying to FORCE everyone to give us respect. I've been on this forum before saying that smashing time does themselves a disservice by TELLING everyone they are the best team. I agree with the guy who said the IWC was the best team ever and that CTFK, team KOBE, and one other California team was one of the top 10 of all time. This thread has gotten out of hand. These two Stanford Beirut douches are obviously idiots who are just trying to get people upset. No one takes someone who calls themselves the shit seriously (although the sfoster guy appears to not believe that) Here's a list of people who have never tried to tell others on here that they were the best. 1. Austin and 2. Neil the list of people who are always saying they are the best goes on and on and on. However, video proof shows that Austin and especially Neil (from WOYFace) always shows that they are legit. The bottom line is that, as a Nor Cal Beirut Player, I've never seen anyone who is better than me. As someone who's played in the world series, It's clear that there is another level of play out there. (P.S. this doesn't mean that I think that on average other states play better on a whole, just that the top players from some states are better than our top (until I see better from nor cal people)) This post would make sense, if you didn't call yourself and your partner the best 2 players in Northern Cali. The way it is, it's just hypocritical. And as for the Stanford Beirut guys, they are actually a really legit team and I would put money on them taking down you and your partner. You guys should just settle it at the WSOBP.

You are a good player my friend... but you are not the best by any means. You did have the best record in my little league during the regular season, but i think i beat you both in regular season play and again playoffs (with a girl as a partner too)... if you read all the way back to the beginning of this thread, it just got outta hand after some comments by individuals in so cal... but i do have to agree that some of Dam_O's comments were a little over the top... and how come you haven't been coming to any of these sacramento tourneys? I haven't played since that tournament in san jose in the middle of studying for the bar. I even gave someone my table. First of all, my dad didn't do jack shit. I worked my own ass into Stanford, then decided that school wasn't really my thing and that throwing balls at cups and drinking Natty Light was a much more productive use of my time. I considered retiring from the game a real job after college, but didn't want to disappoint the hundreds of adoring fans I have. I never said I was the shit. I'm not even the best BP player in the world - I hear there are guys who never miss a shot, but I myself have missed at least 4 or 5 shots this year. Damned rim jobs. So add me to that list as the third person in the world who has never declared himself to be the best BP player in the world. From the sound of it, you are an awesome player (possibly even the greatest player of all time), and it is a damn shame you didn't show up to any of the NorCal tournaments we won this year to give us some competition. I would appreciate if you would refrain from calling me a douche, as certain people would be offended by that allegation. Both Lane and Feliz, who have posted on this thread, claim to be world-class douches and I could never dream of achieving douchebaggery on their elite level. That's like comparing the BP skills a blind midget from the BP black hole that is NorCal to those of your idols, the Iron Wizard Coalition. No contest. We kept trying to tell them they were missing shots when they were going in but they knew we were fucking with them. They were like 2 mini Daredevils or some shit....except way cooler than Affleck. And I don't think that dude was saying we're his idols at all. I'll be the first to say that we're far from the best, but we always are able to step it up on day 3 and play the way we know we can. I would assume he was just going by our 3 year finishes in the top 9 or better.
