14 wins in the first 2 days? i'll take the under on that since the most you can get is 12.

  • just giving you a hard time... but weren't there 14 matches in the first two days in previous years?

are you counting potential wins in the losers bracket as part of the 14 total wins?

Im just giving everyone a hard time also.. im justsaying smashing time will get at least 14 wins .. key word was AT LEAST.. and wondering what the odds were on that..cuz anyone that wants to make that bet lol.. u can potentially win like 2-3 games in day 3 and then lose then have to win like 3-4 maybe 5 games to win it all so u can possibly play like 19-20 games im sure. i think last year our record was like 16 or 17-2 not too sure

kobe, if i remember correctly, you already set an over/under line for Stanford Beirut at 8.5 games. you still stand by that?

Yeah, I said 9 wins....I would put 100 on 9.5 if you wanted to.  I'm seriously considering trying to set something up though for a lot of the top teams. I think it would be fun.

The over/under for most of the top teams from the last couple years would have to be 10 or 10.5. Maybe just set it at their average for the ws's they have played in.  Smashing time would maybe have to be 11 considering they are 24-0 in prelims.

Moving that line I see, Kobe?  Here's one you might want action on: Team Kobe wins - Stanford Beirut wins over the first 2 days.  I will bet the under on 1.5, meaning if you win 11, we have to win at least 10.  If you are sure that you are a far superior team to us, that should be easy money for you.  I am willing to put $100 on both that and the over on 9 wins for us.

I will take the under on 11 wins in the first 2 days for Smashing Time.  No disrespect to them, but I think the field is strong and deep this year and it's going to be tough for any team to run the table.

i don't like that bet because we could go 12-0 and you could go 11-1 and I would lose the bet.  It is out of my control. I mean shit, you could play 12 trash teams and go 10-2 or 11-1.  I understand you could also play some good teams and go 11-1 as well, but I just don't like the bet.

I'll talk to you on the 1st about the over/unders, but especially if I don't set something up, I'll take your 100 dollars on 9 wins.
