  • It's tough to put this shit in order, but here's the teams I think  you're guaranteed to see in the top 10 (not mentioning my team)...

    - Smashing Time (goes without saying)

    - Team Kobe (always in the hunt)

    - Slippery France (all star team)

    - CFK (can't believe no one mentioned them yet)

    - Shawn^2 (always a threat)

    - Zack n Screech (I don't think they get enough credit)

    - We Own Your Face (former champs)

Dark Horse - I'd agree with Defo and say We Run New York

  • I also cannot believe that CtFK got left out of alot of those... Id easily put them top 4 again.

BUT I also would say that to make predictions on this sort of thing is absolutely ridiculous, so many teams and such high competition makes for unbelievable odds. Although I will predict a winner this year from a team who has yet to make top 10 in a previous wsobp. This year in sports has just been too crazy for any "predictable" outcome. IM guessing a mediocre team is gonna rally to victory, whomever they may be.

I think the next champs will be from south of Scranton, west of Trenton, north of Richmond, and east of Cleveland.

Please note that this includes any players born in/raised in the suburbs of Pittsburgh..... including CRANBURY TWP......

  • But serioiusly.... I thought that mentioning a few teams that have a good chance would jinks them  but then I remembered..... I have to play these guys in local tourneys! fuck 'em!

Anyway... I guess everyone on this post would have a biased opinion..... I am no different. (Sorry Shred the Gnar, Stanford Beirut, Silence, and Team Kobe- and other West Cost teams as I have seen only one of you play)

    In no order:

    1. Bobby Beruit

    2. Dixie Normous

    3. Hands Of God (Though I will still take your money if you come out tomorrow!Well )

    4. Sean Squared (Or Shawn Squared...... Do you guys have some sort of competition to see who's name comes first?)

Dark Horse: CTFK (Honestly who wins twice?..... or throws a shoe?)

Darker Horse: Get Mitch Or Die Trying (Maybe I'll win some money back after you win $50K)

  • Well if Fat kid n Kobe teamed up like they did to take down another sat, they would prob take it all. But SCBP has strong teams and I say they'll have 8 teams out of the top 10,

1.) CTFK (Cannes Series Sat Champs) 16 of the best teams in San Diego
2.) Team Kobe (Bluecafe Oct 11th champs) 76 teams 64 doub elim
3.)Team Beirut (Cannes Nov 2 champs) 90+ teams biggest ever
4.)Team America( Belly's Up Aug31 champs) 80 teams n runner up to us at Stingers sorry grady!!!
5.)Lodge West (Out of Retirement to a Beer pong tablee near you) Runner up to Fat Kid n Kobe!!!
6.)Don't Pee in the Fish Tank ( Cannes May 17th Champs) 50+ teams
7.)Baked Goods (Westminster Series Champs) 16 teams
8.)Snipers Inc (Long Beach Nov22 Champs) Near 50 Teams
9.)Kick Rocks(Plenty of top 5 finishes week in week out)
10.)Standford Beirut (Since Peter threw them on the list of SCBP teams, for repn SCBP shirts up north) 2nd to Team America Aug 31st 80 team tourny

Any of these teams have a good shot of winning if not taking top 5 at the WSOBP IV, but that's why we play the games and find out how solid SCBP will be this year. Can't wait for the East Coast vs. West Coast Tournament to make the WSOBP that more exciting

Most of all these teams have proved week in week out they can compete in big tournaments and always place near the top with most of these teams winning satellites In big tournaments, with a lot of people changing teams to win many more Satellites then their team have put together (Fat Kid, Kobe) Notably. I don't know wut happen to Pure Filth (or if they changed partners to form Baked Goods this year) but have two satellite wins

Can't wait for this years WSOBP I'll be there with my SCBP shirt ready to compete against east coast, mid west, and Canada to bring home another Championship for SCBP, See everyone there and bring your wallets.

Stanford Beirut is actually not the same team that took second in the Aug 31st satellite. It is composed of 1 guy (NIck) that played on Stanford Beirut and one guy who played on BeiAreaRut (Tom - 3rd place in that tourney). I was the other guy who played on BeiAreaRut and I have to admit that Nick was the better player on Stanford Beirut and Tom definitely carried BeiAreaRut (I sucked that day since I was just starting to get back into the game). Together they should definitely be better than the Stanford Beirut team you saw in Solana.
