  • 1st timer here...
    In addition to the one beer per player per game, is there any other beer/booze to purchase at the playing site? Can you bring your own? What can we expect?

  • last year it was a pitcher of beer on the table per game. so that 6 cups you split between you and your partner. (the last 4 were filled with water) you could bring your own drinkis in, and they had a beer stand and a liq stand wher you could get shots too, and a food thing to get some fast food. i dont know how it will be set up at the flamingo this year though.

  • Some of these details are still being finalized, but here is what I *think* you can expect:
     
    - No outside food or drink.
     
    - At least two bars setup in the main venue.
     
    - A third bar setup in a lounge area, which will also be the area in which the practice tables will be setup.
     
    - Food sold by the casino that should be reasonably priced (probably cheaper than other food sold by other places in the casino).

  • Maybe this was answered before, but is there a liquor store close by to the Flamingo/or will there be a convenience store in the Flamingo that will have beer (at a reasonable price) for sale like there was at SouthPoint last year?  Just curious cuz as we'll be running through a LOT of beer.

    I know there is at least one liquor store fairly close by, but I have never been in it to evaluate the prices.  I do know, however, that South Point is known as the cheapest place in town for any type of liquor, so I'm guessing whatever is around will be more expensive than South Point.

  • Thanks for letting us know Billy.  I'm sure we will all find a way to get beer/liquor while we're there no matter where it is.

    I got this one.  The back four cups will already be filled with water.  There will be a pitcher at the table that you split to fill the remaining 6 cups on your side and the other team's 6 cups.  This beer is included in your tournament fee.  The beer to be supplied, only the best, Pabst Blue Ribbon (on tap, it honestly is close to Miller Light in my opinion) so it's not that bad.
