    Post subject: Need good ideas for a team name

  • This will be my first year actually competing in organized beer pong tournaments and heading to vegas, so I need a good team name. I thought of a couple myself (tell me what ya think).....
     
    1. "2 Guys 10 Cups" (inspired by 2 girls 1 cup)
    2. "Every Body Poops"
    3. "Lipstick Lesbians"
    4. "Will Bratcher is Gay" (he's a kid me and my partner know and make fun of)
     
    Tell me what u think of those and suggest some team names of ur own.

  • I agree that "2 guys 10 cups" is over used - a good variation on it could be "2 guys 6 balls"

  • Anything that mentions cups, balls, sink, drink, or adds a 'wacky spelling' to one of those pluralized words by putting a 'z' on the end instead of an 's' - has been done before.

    Over the years, we've had well over 1,000 teams and these are the team names that pop up the most.
     
    Top 5 most over used team names (not in order):
     
    1.) Balls Deep or Ballz Deep
    2.) Ram Rod
    3.) Shake & Bake
    4.) Wet Balls or Wet Ballz
    5.) TNT

  • the last tournament we played in we used the name "the team to beat"
     
    we chose it to specifically annoy one of our friends... definitely worked too
     
    it's great to hear each round called... "on table two, the team to beat vs. whoever"  Cheerfully
     
    so now i've put it out there... personally i think if you can't come up with an original name for your team you should quit playing, and possibly consider quiting life...

  • Give yourself a ridiculously gay nickname along with your partner and then put them together and give yourself an acronym. Then never explain what it means to anyone who asks.
