    Post subject: Question for Billy

  • Hey guys,

So here's the deal: My uncle was diagnosed about 18 years ago with a rare blood disease called Wegener’s Granulomatosis. Both of his kidneys failed and so my mom donated one of hers about 10 years ago. That kidney is now failing and so my sister is donating one of hers this winter.  He will be out of work for 3 months with no pay and has to support my little cousin also.

I am hosting a poker tournament to raise money for his bills. All the buy-in money will go directly to his cause, but we need some prizes to give out to the winners. So far, we only have an iPod from Circuit City and some stuff from Saddle Creek Records.

I was wondering if you guys would be willing to donate anything for the prizes. A table, some balls, cups, shirts, ANYTHING. I understand that you guys are stretched thin with the World Series coming up so it's totally cool if you can't do anything, but if you can, you don't know how much we'd appreciate it.

All of the guys that are playing, (about 50) are my college buddes and aquaintences and they all play beer pong and would love a prize related to the game. I beleive that 4 of the guys are actually coming out to Vegas to play this winter.

Here is the website that tells about my uncle's life and disease.

Thank you guys for anything you can do!
