    Post subject: Washington DC area tournaments?

  • Anyone know any DC area tournaments happening soonish?
     
    Also, I plan to register for the world series this year, but I have a dilemma: I'm allergic to hops (sad but true). Will I be able to compete with something other than beer?

  • Travis is right.  I will further elaborate, however, that we will not permit another alcoholic beverage to be placed in the cups in place of the beer.  That doesn't mean you cannot have your own drink on the side that you purchase from the bartenders working on behalf of the casino.

    Not sure where you are, but there is currently a league in Rockville, Md.
     
    I'm sure there will probably be another DC-area tournament, just check www.mdbeerpong.com

    It is my understanding that D.C. screwed itself when it paid for a stadium to house their minor league team in Anacostia. I'm pretty sure the Frederick Keys could beat the Nationals...

    MDBEERPONG will be having a DC tournament sometime in September/October.
     
    We'll also be having tournaments in Metro accessible venues in Bethesda and College Park.
