  • First of CFK alternated shots with 4 cups left which was amazing feat. But my concerns come in on the 2nd game when fat kid knocks down the last cup. to put IWC into redemption, The guy without cut offs drains it for 2 cups left then cut offs makes it for one cup left but then proceeds to take the last shot when he should have alternated to his partner to make the last cup for an overtime chance. Maybe their is some second game rule I am not aware of that allows the redeeming team to choose who's shooting. If anyone who has seen the championship game part 2 from last year want to let me in on this.

  • It was forgotten at the time. The dude that hit the first cup of their 3 cup rebuttle should've had to take the last shot. No one spoke up about it, though I'm sure some people were confused on the rule as Dub was grabbing his crotch to shoot.  Haha.

It came up in another topic that the ruling was misunderstood or forgotten at the time. I had the same problem at a barfinder tourney in Brea. (Is this Ben or Justin?) I let Juergen shoot the first shot in rebuttle and thought I could take the next 2 because of watching Dub take the last 2 shots. I was wrong Farewell

Justin, Yah so if he made that shot it could have changed things quite a bit but if that isnt enforced in a game of that magnitude then wut the hell is the point, im sure they would have made him re shoot if someone had noticed but with that many people watching that shouldnt happen. When are u heading to vegas i think im gonna fly straight vegas from wisconsin but my damm car is in the long term parking in san diego for a smooth 16 a day.

  • The rules were a little bit ambiguous on this point last year.

We have clarified the rules this year, and if the game were to played this year, IWC's shooting progression would be legal.

From the official rules, section V-K-A-1:

Either player may take the first shot, and the ball is rolled back until a player misses. At this time, players MUST alternate throwers in the event of multiple hits-one player may NOT take all the redemption shots. The only exception to this rule occurs when there are three cups remaining when redemption begins. In this case, the first two shots must be alternated (i.e., the player who shoots first cannot shoot second), but the final shot may be taken by either player.

  • We certainly didn't do that on purpose. Shit, I would have preferred we did it properly because we weren't sure who should take the shot. It would eliminate the nerve-wracking decision of who should shoot because there's no argument about it.

Who knows...maybe Mike would have made the shot. I think at the very least, the last game should be heavily officiated. I know my partner and I were pretty trashed, so it's tough to remember what we should and shouldn't be doing.

Either way, leave us alone. We've had enough nightmares about the finals. haha.
