Team America will be at the world series, and we are more than willing to play Sanford Beirut in a few cash games. As starving college students (arguably more true than cliche) we won't have the cash to throw down $200 in a series, but I'm sure we can work something out for a series or just regular cash games. On a side note, by Stanford Beirut do you mean Tom/Nick (I think its you two playing together for the world series? Correct me if Im wrong) , or do you mean Nick (I believe thats your name, apologies if I am mistaken) and the shorter individual in the blue shirt who shoots with one hand in his pocket from Solana Beach? Either way we are willing to get a few games in. Regardless, look forward to seeing all of you in Vegas and hope you have a safe trip getting there. "Stanford Beirut" is going to be me (Nick) and Tom. I played on "Stanford Beirut" (the 2nd place team) in the Solana Beach tourney with the guy who shoots with a hand in his pocket. Tom is the guy with the floater shot who played on "BeiAreaRut" (3rd place team). I believe Tom and I played you guys later that night at CTFK's house. Usually we play together, but we split up onto different teams in SoCal for whatever reason. We have won both tourneys we have played together in this year - both the Roseville "satellite" which eventually became just a $500 cash tourney and the Dublin satellite. whoever nick is, refer to yourself by your last name from now on. there is only one nick at the world series and i dont want anyone to confuse me with the guy making retarded claims and stupid comments on here Whatever man, shit talking is part of the game. My partner and I both do a lot of it, although I don't do too much during the actual game. I'm just saying we are legit. I don't want to go by my last name because being a professional beirut/beer pong player is sort of my side job and I want to keep it separate from the other, slightly more legitimate stuff I do with my life. If there is any confusion, you can call me "Nick D" or "Dam-O-nation"...but I have a feeling people will choose to differentiate between me and you as something along the lines of "the Nick who is unstoppable on the beirut/beer pong table" and "the other Nick." I'll leave it up to you to decide which is which.

Guess I must have been sleeping that day in WSOBP history class. Unfortunately I did not go to the first 3 WSOBPs because I was trying to fight the urge to keep playing this game all the damn time, until this year when I finally caved. Well I guess we will leave it at "Nick D" then, and I will have to face the possibility that I may not even be the best player in the world with the first name "Nick." In that case I might have to change my name to something else so I can know I'm the best player with that name. Maybe I can go with "Kobe," in which case I would be the best player with the first name, last name, or team name "Kobe." I don't think there is anyone with that name who is good at this game, although I bet Kobe Bryant would be pretty solid if he played.

Any tournaments around Toledo area? I know there are usually a few in Ann Arbor, but most are a few hours away up in Michigan. mft
