I know I washed my hands every time but I still ended up sick as hell.  In fact I even ended up with a cold during day 2 which was great.

Joe can't wait to get to run some games again whenever pong starts up around here again.

Damn everyone ended up sick what the hell.  And yea for sure I feel lost without pong, it sucks.  But we may be making another NY trip end of January or early February.

If you guys are going to head out there let me know.  I have no idea if/when clutch is going to do anything around here and I am feeling a need to pong.

  • I assumed it was customary to get sick either during, or immediately after the WSOBP.  Last year I didn't make it past day one before getting the flu, and this year I fortunately made it to Sunday night to get this nasty fucking cold.

    Sadly, it's probably worth it.

I know I've been to the WSOBP twice and ended up sick both times.  At least the 1st time I didn't get sick until I was back at home.  For me it might have something to do with the fact that we go out there the day before New Year's and by the time we leave we've been in Vegas for 6 days which is too damn long.

  • I'm pretty sure that everyone got sick because we all drank enough to kill a buffalo.  Alcohol isn't the best thing for the immune system and I'm pretty sure you're more succeptible to get sick when you drink alcohol in large quantities.  I wouldn't be surprised if I saw people with wet naps next year or rubber gloves.

I think I forgot to wash my hands once because we were up and didn't realize we were up and my partner was calling me to get my slow ass over there so I ran the fuck out of there.  And for the record, we did win that game.  Maybe washing your hands wins games?  hahaha, then I'm sure we'd have a fucking pandemic on our hands.

  • sick as well.

if this is a real issue for you, I think the best you can do is walk around with anti-bacterial prepacked wet wipes and insist your opponents use them before a game.

also it would be good humor to call your team name germophobes or something at this point

  • haha we just might have to get purel next year.

And yes I agree the sickness is probably from the drinking and lack of sleep.  I am kinda a germaphobe and so is my teammate.  But I don't think there's a name change in the future lol.

Oh well.  I obviously realize beerpong is not the cleanest sport, the main reason I brought it up is because if you look at the quick rules they gave us when we signed in there is a rule that says something about not taking offense to trash talking, even if it involves your mother.

They should just throw another funny rule on there about washing hands.  Might just make people think twice when leaving the crapper.

  • I actually ended up getting very sick, which fucked my day 2 up hard.. idk if it was the not washing hands thing or the airplane, climate change or w.e. But i agree, people should wash there hands.  I hear herpes thrives in beer..
