I assumed it was customary to get sick either during, or immediately after the WSOBP.  Last year I didn't make it past day one before getting the flu, and this year I fortunately made it to Sunday night to get this nasty fucking cold.

    Sadly, it's probably worth it.

I know I've been to the WSOBP twice and ended up sick both times.  At least the 1st time I didn't get sick until I was back at home.  For me it might have something to do with the fact that we go out there the day before New Year's and by the time we leave we've been in Vegas for 6 days which is too damn long.

I've been all 4 and yeah you get sick after. But, it's more the drinking than anything else. Cause it's a vegas trip where you get up and start drinking earlier than you normally would, but somehow last just as long into the night. But I agree wash your god damn hands!

  • Just to point out the obvious - the WS staff doesn't put your beer into the cups.

You're perfectly within your rights to pour 2 full cups of beer into side cups and fill all 10 in-game with water. (as far as I know)

Then you don't have to worry about drinking piss beer.

Maybe that's why the Designated Drinkers wouldn't drink their beer.

    Haha.

I must have pissed about 35 times in the 3 days, and proudly washed my hands 35 times. Obviously beer pong is not the cleanist sport, which is probably why my girlfriend, roommate and myself are all sick now.

do you just lie all the time kobe?  I mean i was pissing at the same time as you twice and both times you didn't wash your hands...that is a fact... and you make up other shit like me getting kicked out 4 or 5 times... i was escorted out once when you started shit with me. They told me i can come back in a little bit when i cooled off. Then i came back to apologize to you and you acted like a little girl and whined to the security to have me go again... you are a habitual liar... it is okay though, it is a psychological condition... it is not your fault...

  • this shit is right up there with the "beer pong causes herpes" nonsense the dumbest shit ever.  guess what, drinking 6 beers a day (wsobp beer per day) is not lowering our immune system. its the change in environment including new people around, or maybe the 6am nights at osheas and the strip, and waking up to drink early, not sleeping and eating burger king 4 times a day to avoid the $22 buffet.  that may be why we get sick. beer pong or not, most people leaving vegas get sick.  i was the same way, dont blame this on the beer pong aspect of it.  and joe, i can say this because you are a good friend (and a cocksucking 4th place finisher), i cannot wait to stand next to you in the line for the pisser and not wash my hands before we play.  haha

the main purpose for this drunken rant is because beer pong already has enough slams against it saying it is a binge drinking game.  anyone at the world series who saw the final day knows that it is the opposite.  dont help out the fucking morons with their phd in sociology telling us beer pong is the root of all evil.  its make you one of them

I gotta agree with Nick on this one...the whole vegas trip was like a shortened, sped-up version of "Supersize Me" except with burger king, booze, and lack of sleep instead of Mc'Ds...that shit will take a toll on your body regardless if beer pong is in the equation or not...is beer pong a means for partaking in the accelerated intake of alcoholic beverages? Sure it is...but so would using a beer bong or seeing your grandmother naked
