    Post subject: weather issues....

  • Billy or skinny or whoever.....I hate to say it but with weather the way it is right now with vegas getting 6 inches of snow today.....what if there is a big storm and teams cant arive in vegas tell the 2nd......do you guys have a plan for this?

  • First off, if anyone is planning on arriving late on Jan 1st, please send an email to tournaments@bpong.com and we will put you on our late list.
     
    Second,  we are still 15 days away, and current projections are calling for average temperatures in the 50's for next week. As per usual, the odds are very strong that Vegas will not have weather conditions that will stop people from getting in.
     
    Now, there may be storms across the country that prohibit certain people from flying out on the first. We will deal with these situations like every other thing that comes up: We will deal with them. If you are in the situation on January 1st where you think you won't make it, call someone and have them send an email to tournaments@bpong.com and we'll deal with it.
     
    Other than that, the one piece of advice I can give is this: If we have your cell phone number, it will make things a lot easier for us to figure out what's going on if you don't show up. To put your number in the system:
     
    1. Sign in to BPONG.COM at the upper right hand corner
    2. Under 'MY BPONG', click on 'Profile'
    3. Under 'Phones', submit your cell number.
     
    If you do this, and you're not signed in on the 1st, we will try and contact you to find out whats up.

  • Funny, looks like they canceled schools in Las Vegas tomorrow due to the snow.

    but skinny, can you promise us that our #'s won't be sold to some marketing company... i don't want random calls coming in on the cell phone?
