That's all I did. I must have talked to 5 or 6 Nor Cal guys at the WS and everything was cool. We all know that this forum is a joke. Most of us found out that we had something in common, not liking you guys. I say a few things about Nor Cal and Stanford Beirut tries to fight me on Day 3. Tom gets kicked out 4 or 5 times, but everytime he gets back in...he goes straight for me. Ridiculous. What I said was a fact...Nor Cal hasn't proven anything at the WS, but I don't have anything against Nor Cal. I should have just directed it at you guys. Kobe, I think you are alone in your anti-Stanford Beirut sentiment. I am cool with most of your SoCal buddies: Wet Bandits, Silence, Team Beirut, Snipers Inc, CTFK, Flick the Bean, MyWicky, Hybrid Rice, Team America, and so on. Those guys are all awesome and we (or at least I) do not and never did have beef with them. I have nothing against SoCal and would have liked to see a SoCal team win if it couldn't be us, which obviously it couldn't because we choked in the same round that you did. When RJ and I beat you guys in Huntington Beach I know you were bummed and shit because you wanted to whoop my ass on the table, but there was no reason to be a douche about it. I don't remember ever anything disrespectful towards you in any way. I'm not excusing Tom's behavior on Day 3, and I was really just joking when I said you deserved it, but the fact is that every time I've met you or heard you say shit on this board, you've come off as somewhat of a douchebag. That's just what it is. Maybe you're not, but until I see evidence of that I have no reason to think otherwise. On a different topic, Stanford Beirut and NorCal's Finest will both challenge for the title next year. We proved we were good enough in cash games, beating several top 10 teams/players, but couldn't get it done on the big stage. Thats expected since it is Vegas and thats where the tourny is obviously. I got home to Kansas City tonight and was surprised to see a quick story on the WSOBP IV on one of our local stations to close out the show. I think this is incredible that the tournament is getting this kind of exposure! Anyone else see stories in their home towns away from Vegas? Off topic, but I didn't see a way to send a private message? Where do you play at in KC? That's my hometown and I've never had any luck finding places to practice when going back to visit. Thanks.

Mentioned Ron, talked about Ron's day 3 bottle of jack, then argued against Beer Pong being a sport. Said something along the lines of... "When the man sitting at the pinnacle of your organization right now prepares for game day by drinking a bottle of Jack in the morning, there's a problem." He quoted Billy on his claims of it being a competitive sport, only people drink while playing. Spoke extensively against people who have finished college and still play the game. Then he said, "well, it was for 50G's." Anyway, definitely good to hear the tourney getting that national recognition whether positive or negative.
