  • 1.) Are the prices for the hotel rooms per night or for the four nights we are there? I know that they are per person.

2.) If I were to win a satellite tourney that would include my hotel expenses as well as my entry fee in the the WSOBPV correct? I would just have to pay for travel expenses right?

Thats it thanks for any help!

not to be an ass, but straight from the WSOBP page:

    Packages:
Note: All Packages are priced per-person and include a 4-night stay at The Flamingo and entrance into WSOBP V. A deposit is not as additional cost, it is applied towards the total package cost.

Q:  Do I need to win a Satellite Tournament to enter?

No. You may sign up at any time.

Q:  Do I need to make my own travel arrangements?

    Yes.

  • if you had to pay for all that when winning a satellite, what benefit would winning a satellite be?

in short, if you win a satellite, no, you dont have to pay your hotel expenses or entry into the WSOBP, just your travel. That's essentially what a satellite is. A tournament for free entry into a bigger tournament (a la world series of poker).

  • In years past, we have had a few organizations run Satellite Tournaments that included travel, but I am not sure if there are any this year.  In general, if you win a Satellite, you probably need to cover travel.

I have found that expedia.com or orbitz.com are both great sites to book travel arrangements. These sites allow various options to help save money. It is very convenient. Not sure if anyone has heard of these sites. You can pay online without having to enlist the services of a travel agent. I recommend checking it out.
