geno9 Joined: 09.02.2009 Age: 27 Total Games: 0 W/L %: 0 Avg CD: 0 Full Stats	Posted: Jan 6th 2010, 05:59 pm Post subject: last place... ok team that finished # 468 went 0-12 -120 .. that means they didnt hit 1 cup? is that even possible or did this team not show up and each team that played them just got a 10 cup win .. regardless team # 467 went 0-12 -79.2 and that still pretty bad too also another question about the playoff brackets. teams that made it to day 3 (top 128 or whatever it was). how did that work was it straight double elim tourney or were they best out of 3 or was the finals just a best of 3?

The two teams that finished that were both girl teams. Not saying girls cant play but I dont think any of them had played the game. Day 3 was best of 3 throughout the winners bracket then 1 and out in the losers.

The last 2 team were the girls from gentlemen's clubs so they were just promoting their club and themselves. Good marketing I would say. But ya Team Top Gun did really bad...

I was supposed to play them in our 11th game but they didn't show. You'll also notice their names listed both are "Random". What are the chances that two girls named Random played on the same team?

If you click on the plus sign next to their name you can see that they had forfeit all but one game, which they didn't hit a cup. Team Top Gun also only played their first four games and forfeit the rest.

My argument was how does a team get a win by 0 cups? If we would have played we would have had to win by at least 1 cup and allowed us to play final day.

I think if you were 8-4 and lost the 4 by a few cups each, and won 8 games by 1 or 2 cups each it might avg to 0 cup diff. Of course I'm high as hell so I don't know lol

When the other team forfeits you get a cup differential equal to your average differential from all your other games. Yours total differential was 9.818, which is less than an average of 1 cup differential (hence the .818 from that one forfeit). That is the reason that you won by .818 cups (not 0), but yeah that sucks, you would have made day 3 it if they played you.
geno9 Joined: 09.02.2009 Age: 27 Total Games: 0 W/L %: 0 Avg CD: 0 Full Stats	Posted: Jan 7th 2010, 12:36 am Post subject: last place... got ya that makes sense bout those 2 girls teams just promoting .. i was just looking there was a bunch of forfeits throughout the 1st 2 days .. just wondering is this because teams just didnt show up in time for there games or were to hammered to play or what .. that is kinda shitty for teams though especially that lose out on playing in the playoff rounds... if there are forfeits shouldnt teams just get a +10 win to make it fair for everyone, i just dont get how teams only play some of there games though, especially if they pay to be out there...
