  • So I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but what about for the 3rd day, if your team makes 2 in a row, the opposing team gets to choose which partner shoots the bonus shot each time you double up?  If this has come up, please post the thread because I'd be interested in reading a thread about it.

I wouldn't be opposed to it being throughout the WSOB from day one but I figured give the weaker teams the advantage early on for the sporting chance by giving the bringback shot to the hotter player?  I feel there might be a lot of strategy given the setup of the cups hit and how good the players are.  I know there are setups that are easier for left handed players vs. right handed players and vice versa.  My teammate and I will switch who takes the bringback shot if the cups hit govern the situation given the higher percentage of the shot and confidence of the player.  But if the other team had the pick then I would think the truly better TEAM would come out on top, not player.  What do you think?  Let me know.

  • I like the idea, but if you are going to do it, it would have to be enforced all three days. It makes it more of a team game.

That said, I doubt you will actually ever see this rule.

  • oh, you mean Pop would never shoot a bringback shot again lol theres not really a fair reason to be enforcing something like this. if ANYTHING, it should be alternating bringbacks but then you run into situations that become difficult to govern, dealing with people complainin someone took two bringbacks in a row, etc.

  • yeah the alternating thing would prob lead to arguments. why not bring both balls back though (a max of 4 shots per turn)?

  • The alternating rollback shots was in the WSOBP 2 rules. It didn't work then and did lead to arguments and controversy.

I like the rules the way they are and I see no reason to change them.

I mean, true it's a team game but I don't really see how the rules Paul and Piotr are proposing make it "more of a team game". Should we make teams hold hands while shooting too?

  • I like this rule, not because it makes it more of a team game, but it kinda adds a new mental aspect to the game. True, both players could be hot and doesnt make a difference, but i think it could get to ppls heads abit if u choose who's gonna be shooting. And if it were to be applied, it would definitly have to be for all 3 days.

  • How about for the 3rd shot the ball is literally  set on fire and the person has to shoot blindfolded?
