I'll be looking into this matter

LOL look into it all you want! doesn't matter, and if you dont like it then dont come to any more tournies. You wouldn't have won regardless of what time it started, and you weren't bitching about anything that day, so it takes a big man to run back home and post something up on a message board a week later. The goal of a successful tournament is to have a good turnout and have teams compete. I apologize almighty Pongstar that people were inconvenienced by an insane traffic situation. Next time we'll refer to you for traffic conditions and marathon routes since you know so much about these things.

  • And why would you say something like, "you are sure we wouldn't have won no matter what", how could you possibly know something like that?

The problem isn't tournies in the future, it is the tourney that already happened.

Like I said this isn't about the next time, its about the last time.  The goal of a sucessful tournament is to get a good turnout and start on time.  If you didn't know the marathon was going to cause traffic problems that is your mistake, not mine, correct?  Why should i have to wait to play because of your mistake?

you didn't have to wait, you could have just left. point is most people are understanding about these kinds of things, and everyone at this particular tourney was very understanding. i dont remember the last tourney that i went to that actually started on time, so you must not be a regular tournament player. what are you planning on looking into? lol theres nothing you can possibly do that will change anything, it is what it is. and i know you wouldnt have won because your bitching like a little girl over something that was trivial and wasn't an issue to anyone at this particular tourney. it wasn't my mistake that it took other people awhile to get to this tourney, or that there were people who were on the way and caught in traffic.. so no, its not my fault that the marathon caused people to have traffic issues, if it started on time at 2, the only difference would have been that you were out of the tournament a couple hrs earlier, so sorry for the inconvenience of being a respectful human being trying to wait for people who were on there way. I might even lose some sleep over you being upset over this, hahahaPerfectly

  • If there was no arrogance in return i probably would have dropped the whole issue.  The heavy sarcasm and blatent disregard for the wording in your own promotion is quite annoying.

your dam right im being sarcastic now. i dont care if you drop it or not, you're the one who came back on here a week later acting like an arrogant d-bag, so now you got one in return. if you came here for an apology you came to the wrong place. or if you thought that you and your mediocre partner would win the tournament by default because there were people still on there way to the tourney at 2pm then you're sorely mistaken. who are you?!? you're nobody, come find me in Vegas if youd like to continue this discussion

    With my money back?

So now only regular tourney players are allowed to play or something, i dont' follow what you are trying to say here.  This tournament wasn't advertised to 'principles only'.

"what are you planning on looking into? lol theres nothing you can possibly do that will change anything, it is what it is. and i know you wouldnt have won because your bitching like a little girl over something that was trivial and wasn't an issue to anyone at this particular tourney."

you are saying i wouldn't have won because i am complaining about starting 2 and half hours late.  Taking the actual game out of the equation there doesn't make much sense in that prediction.

It was your mistake to not factor in the marathon to the starting time.  You ran the tournament.  Traffic issues are the players faults as well and there should have been some sort of compensation to people who went out of their way to make it on time.  You were being respectful to others but not to me, correct.  So 'selective respect' on your behalf, as we can see that selective respect is continuing.  So any 'respect' you were showing was probably just fake.  It should have been scheduled at 4:30 and things may have happened differently.  You can't be going by the logic that things happen exactly the same in a day baseball game as they would if that baseball game were played that night. instead.

Why would i be mistaken about that, it says the tourney started at 2 pm.  Plus there were teams there at 2, so i couldn't have won by default, correct?

  • Mike, so if you knew you were going to win why invite others to play... to scam them out of money for your buy in?  If you are 100% sure of your victory, then why act honest to me to come play?  To scam me, correct?  The only way you wouldn't be scamming someone in a game is if they have a chance of winning, correct?
