  • Hey, take a look at this email i received prior to this tournament...

"Winner gets free entry to the WSOBP V tournament and free 4 night stay in vegas for the WSOBP. The only thing you need to pay for if you come in first is airfare to and from Las Vegas and spending money. The tournament is still on for sunday, only 64 brackets available, so make sure you get there by 1pm to register. "

But then again, why am I discussing physics and logic with people who have to lean 3/4 of the way over a table to put a ball in a cup 8 feet away.

The reason you would have lost is because at regardless of 7am, 10am, 12 noon, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 630, 633 or 10 at night, you're going to be out-shot by the best players. You're just not good enough and it's evident by the fact that you're bitching about the time of the tourney. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't hear Pop bitching about the tournament starting at 430pm when he was there at 2. Maybe because he shoots well all the time. And it's no scam - you can come and win the bids to the WS by not missing. But like I said, you bitch about the time it starts and it's clear that you're not winning the tourney.

On the flip side of your argument, Andy Pettitte may have had a horrendous day game and then pitch a gem at night. Is it not possible that you would have missed every single single shot at 2pm, but then shot better at 4pm?

Quit being such a bitch. What would your mother think of you?

  • If the best players win every time, and the tournament is a foregone conclusion, why was i told to show up at 1pm to register.  Isn't that dishonest and just looking for more money to throw in the pool for people who would have won anyway?  Where is all this honesty about the tournament before the tournament?  All i see there is hype.  But now everyone has an opinion.

Is it not a bit ridiculous that everyone has an opinion about the nature of the tournament AFTER the tournament and not BEFORE the tournament when everything was 'hush hush' about the chances of anyone but the normal winners?

  • You wanna talk about being a man and not a vagina?  How about being honest before the tournament starts and not after while you snicker with the money.  If You look at the posts before the tournament started, the same people with lots of opinions now on how the tournament was a foregone conclusion weren't saying anything before the tournament.  Being a man would have had the same opinion the whole time.

Instead it just resembled a car salesmans pitch.

Shit man, I just got back from this USTA tennis tournament that I paid $30 to enter. This player was way better than me and smoked me. Damn USTA and their f'ing scams. They are dishonest in every aspect of their operation.

From what I hear you are so terrible that you couldn't have won the tourney with 1 other team there on time. But wasn't Pop there? You're trying to convince us that you would've won the tournament if it was just your team and Pop?

  • Andy Pettite would've won no matter what time he pitched as long as it was the clinching game of the series lol

Pongstars you just wont let up huh? What I'm getting from all of this is that you want a pat on the back for getting to the tournament by 2pm? Well congratulations, you are a superior navigator of New York City, and kudos to you for knowing the routes of the New York marathon where thousands of people were running and every major highway and street were shut down. You should forget about pong and just work for Garmin, or maybe mapquest because you have the talent to avoid traffic and get to the tournament on time.

What did you want to happen? Get your money back after you lost because you got to the tourney on time? You didn't bitch at all the day of the tourney as you were waiting, nor did you even imply that you wanted your money back. Instead you wait until a week later to begin complaining about it and making ludicrous statement that things wouldve been different had the tourney started earlier. The tourney wasn't a scam because there were great players there who are capable of beating the Pop and Deep (the people who won), but you just werent one of them.

Also, if you would like to play any cash games at your time of choice Pop or myself would be more than happy to oblige, altho at this point I kinda wanna just bitchslap you for being such a tool.
