  • I'm not trying to convince you that i would have won, i'm just trying to get you to admit there would have been a better chance, even if it increased from 1% to 2% with 8 less teams there.

  • If it takes me 15 tournaments to get good x 50 dollars per tournament = 750 dollars

Heck, i could just practice at home and buy in to the wsobp for that amount of money (or less), and have 150 dollars or more left over.

    I think i'll do that.

  • wait... 750 dollars for the buyins, then you gotta tack on 20 x 15 tournaments for the beer!

    20 x 15 = 300

300 +750 = 1050 dollars worth of 'practice' or 450 dollar buy in?

by the sounds of it you need the practice.

I can't believe this kid is still crying over losing. The reason people are saying you had 0% of winning is your apparent lack of skill, and the fact Mike Pop was there at 2pm as well. In case you didn't know, his team won $50,000 on last years World Series, including another $25,000 a few months later. needless to say, he's pretty good, and when you have 0 skill, you also have 0% chance of winning. And from what I hear, Pop was there on time as well. I doub't your outcome would have mattered.Go to some more tournaments, practice more, get your weight up, and then bitch when you lose (but please dont). Stop thinking your the best and that you would have won a NYC tournament because you run house in your parents basement.

  • No the point was that it makes no sense to play in these tournaments because i have little chance to win.  It would be better to just buy in and practice on my own than waste the time.

Practicing on your own wont make you any better. Best of luck the first couple days of the WS. I'm buying Posada some binoculars so he can see the tables on day 3, I'm sure he'll let you borrow them.
